PARADE RULES AND REGULATIONS 2013
Parade starts at 6 PM, Please Line-up no later than 4:00 PM
No entries higher than 14 Feet, due to Cable Lines
Non-decorated entries will be refused entry into the parade. This applies to everyone, except antique autos.
All vehicles must be at least 30% Covered with decoration.
Name of entry MUST be visible on EACH side of your entry.
Each animal entry must be accompanied by a walker.
When dropping off children, please try to arrange car-pooling.
Parade Route: Starting Argyle/Main, to Starrs Rd, up Starrs. to the Yarmouth Mall.
Floats line up on Argyle St., Walkers & Bands on Bond St., Vehicles on Prince St. Santa will be on Main Street, below Argyle. Please do not take this space.
Entries are first come, first serve. Please go to the back of the line.
Argyle St. from William to Main will be one-way only. No entry from Main St.
Absolutely NO Santa Claus costumes. NO THROWING anything from floats or vehicles, including candy, handouts, etc.
PARADE LANDING INSTRUCTIONS:
Parade route is from Argyle/Main Street, up Main Street to Herbert Street. It runs 1.5 miles.
Walkers/bands will be ending in the park.
Single cars/trucks will be ending in Provincial Building Parking lot.
SANTA CLAUS WILL NOT BE TURNING UP HERBERT. Will continue on Main Street.
All service vehicles will NOT be turning up Herbert. Will continue on Main Street.
ALL FLOATS with will be directed up Herbert, or continuing on Main. PLEASE DO NOT watch from Herbert Street, as you will not see Santa. He will be on MAIN STREET ONLY.
Please make arrangements with anyone picking up participants. Streets will be blocked off and there will be NO PARKING along Huntington Street, part of Brunswick, and Herbert.
Christmas Parade Horse Group will be turning up Huntington Street, with police escort and continuing to Meadowfields for residents viewing. Please be respectful of these horses and their riders.
